Useless Studio - Handmade Ceramic Workshop
Experience traditional hand-building pottery techniques at Useless Studio. Learn the fundamentals of hand-sculpting ceramics, understanding different types of clay and glazes. Workshop options include wheel throwing experience, hand-built ceramic cups, bowls, plates, coffee drippers, and sake sets. Wheel throwing course (2 hours) includes clay preparation, shaping on the pottery wheel, trimming and glazing fees. Students can add glazing experience on the day. Hand-building courses include both forming and glazing sessions (2 classes total). First class focuses on shaping, second class on glazing after bisque firing.
